Remodelling and extension to a bungalow
Oakridge Lynch, Gloucestershire
The original house was a 1950s rendered bungalow on a large site with views. The brief called for an extensive remodelling to provide better accommodation in the roof space, a small extension to the side and the redesign of the main entrance with the addition of an oak framed porch. The entire property was re-rendered in roughcast and the roof recovered in Cotswold stone slates. All the windows and external were replaced resulting in a Cotswold vernacular finish more in keeping with its surroundings. Completed 2015.
